Day 6 ~ Kayenta, AZ to Cortez, CO

Brent steps foot in 4 states at one time: yes, he was at the 4 Corners National Monument today.

78 miles ridden by lunch, he was excited to start heading into Colorado. He is actually looking forward to the climb for the next few days. (delirium must be setting in). He said for avid bicyclists, this is the kind of thing they look forward to, climbing high peaks and training in this altitude. Now he gets to experience that feeling.

After lunch Brent spent the rest of the afternoon climbing. He ended the day feeling great after riding 119 miles.

Also worth mentioning, Brent has surpassed the quarter mark of his ride.
